Solar Panel EPC and
EPCs for Renewable Energy
With the introduction of solar generated electricity in the country of recent years it has highlighted the benefits of renewable technologies.
With the demand for warm homes and concerns of ever-increasing energy bills, renewable heating technologies such as solar water heating, air and ground source heat pumps and biomass are growing in popularity.
As these technologies are not cheap to install the government has rolled out the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) which provides quarterly cash payments over seven years for generating low carbon heat, which can assist with the return on investment.
RHI is similar to the Feed in Tariff (FiT) incentitive which is paid for renewable electricity.
To be eligible for for RHI you will need a recent Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) (less than 2 years old).
